SHREVEPORT, La. – The UHV baseball team dropped both ends of its Red River Athletic Conference doubleheader to No. 1-ranked LSU Shreveport on Friday.
The Jaguars fell 11-1 and 11-3 at Pilot Field.
UHV (34-12, 19-7) had five hits in each game.
Hal Perez had the only multi-hit game of the twinbill for the Jaguars, going 2-for-3 in Game 1.
Kyle Barosh, Roberto Olguin, Jackson Purcell and Jose Montanez had RBIs in Fridays games.
Brady Parker and Jonathan Jones suffered the losses on the mound for the Jaguars.
The win in Game 1 for LSUS set a record for longest winning streak in NAIA baseball history.
The series wraps up on Saturday at 1 p.m.
